Biography

Clodagh Cunningham is an experienced research nurse working with the TRIL Centre and based at the assessment unit in St. James hospital. Clodagh is a general registered nurse at Clinical Nurse Manager II grade, and has a post graduate Diploma in Gerontology and a Diploma in Management. She qualified as a State Registered Nurse in the Royal City of Dublin Hospital and worked in St Brendan's psychiatric hospital in Dublin for two years as a Staff nurse where she gained a particular interest in gerontology. Clodagh also worked in St Brigid's home in Dublin for seven years, where she provided long-term and respite care to older people. Her previous position was as a Clinical Nurse Manager in St James's Hospital extended care and respite unit. Clodagh has worked at the TRIL Centre since July 2007.
