Prof Rose Anne Kenny to give 49th Robert Graves lecture

Prof Rose Anne Kenny will give the Royal Academy of Medicine's 49th Robert Graves lecture on Wednesday 20th May at 7 p.m. in the Royal Academy of Medicine, 6 Kildare St., Dublin 2.  Graves was the first physician to fully describe exophthalmic goiter, now called Graves' disease or Basedow's disease.  Prof Kenny will receive the Academy’s silver medal and an Honorarium. Prof Kenny is the first female to give this prestigious lecture since the lecture series commenced in 1961.
